What is Activate?
Activate is an active-gaming venue built around small, technology-driven rooms. Instead of sitting at a screen, players jump, dodge, solve, climb and coordinate while the room reacts in real time. Games are short — Activate says individual challenges generally run about one to three minutes — so the experience is designed around trying different rooms, levels and strategies rather than committing to one long game.
The Town Square location is Activate’s first in Nevada. The company currently describes the Las Vegas venue as having 14 game rooms, with groups starting at two players and large events accommodating up to 80.

What games are inside?
The format mixes physical challenges with puzzle and strategy games. Early Las Vegas opening information specifically named Hoops, Laser, Mega Grid and Hide and Press. The bigger hook is replayability: rooms can contain multiple games and difficulty levels, so you can keep moving instead of waiting through one fixed attraction.
Activate’s system also uses electronic wristbands to track gameplay and achievements. That makes the competitive part useful for mixed groups — you can chase scores if you want to, but nobody needs to arrive knowing the rules.
This makes the most sense when the group itself is the entertainment. Bachelor and bachelorette crews, families with older kids, dates that need an actual activity and convention groups all fit better than someone looking for a passive Vegas attraction.

Who is Activate Las Vegas best for?
Good when you want something competitive before dinner, drinks or a night out.
Ages 6+ are welcome, and adjustable difficulty gives mixed-age groups some room to work.
Team play and group capacity up to 80 make this a practical off-site option.
There is a physical component. Activate recommends comfortable clothing and clean, flat, closed-toe shoes because some games involve running, jumping, crawling or climbing. A waiver is also required.
Hours and where to find it

Town Square itself is an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment center, so this is easier to turn into part of a larger afternoon or evening than a standalone industrial-park activity.
