Yes — every performing animal in Popovich Comedy Pet Theater was rescued from an animal shelter. Cats, dogs, parrots, geese, white doves, and Diamond the Shetland Pony all came from shelters and were given a new life with Gregory Popovich's troupe. They're not exotic or wild animals — they're former shelter pets who now perform nightly on a Las Vegas stage.
Is this show good for young kids?
It's one of the best shows on the Strip for young children. No age restrictions, no adult content, no moments to navigate around. Children 2 and under sit on a lap for free. The combination of animals performing tricks and world-class circus acts holds attention at every age. This is the show locals bring out-of-town family to when kids are in the group.
Can I take photos during the show?
Still photos may be welcome — check with your usher before you pull out a camera. Flash photography is strictly prohibited. Video recording is not permitted. If an usher asks you to stop, put the phone away. This is enforced.

The V Theater is located inside Miracle Mile Shops at the back of the mall — not inside the casino itself. Enter through Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd and follow signs through Miracle Mile Shops to Suite 360. Arriving 30 minutes early is recommended to give yourself enough time to find the theater and get seated.
Is there food or drink service at the theater?
The V Theater does not offer food service, but there is a full-service bar on site. A wide variety of restaurants and dining options are available throughout Miracle Mile Shops before or after the show — it's a full mall, so there's plenty of choice without going far.
When does the show run and how long is it?
Popovich Comedy Pet Theater performs Tuesday through Saturday at 2:30 PM. The show is dark on Sundays and Mondays. The runtime is 60 minutes with no intermission. Always verify the current schedule before purchasing.
