What is Now You See Me LIVE?

Now You See Me LIVE is a Las Vegas magic production at MGM Grand inspired by the Now You See Me film franchise. It brings the movies’ combination of illusion, mystery and heist-style storytelling into a live theater format rather than presenting a conventional magician-and-assistant show.

The production uses large illusions and mind-bending magic inside a narrative framework recognizable to fans of the films. That makes the story and atmosphere part of the attraction along with the tricks themselves, especially for people who already like the franchise’s slick, puzzle-driven style.

The 30-second answer

Kris’s take

The reason to choose this over a standard magic show is the movie connection. If you like the Now You See Me world, the live production gives you a story-driven way to spend the night instead of a sequence of unrelated tricks.

You want illusions, mind-reading or sleight-of-hand to be the main event.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Now You See Me LIVE performed?
Now You See Me LIVE is staged at the MGM Grand Theater inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, at the south end of the Strip. Enter through the main MGM Grand casino and follow signage to the theater. Plan to arrive at the resort 120 minutes before showtime — the MGM Grand is one of the largest hotels in the world, and it takes longer to get from the parking garage or rideshare drop-off to the theater than most guests expect.
Is Now You See Me LIVE appropriate for kids?
Guests must be 5 years of age or older to attend, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The show is a family-friendly magic spectacular built around illusions, escapes and large-stage storytelling. The roughly two-hour runtime is worth keeping in mind for younger children.
Which seats are best for Now You See Me LIVE?
Section 1 and Section 2 rows J through P are the Vegas Sidekick picks. Section 1 is the pink section closest to the stage. Rows J through P are the lower portion of the gold Section 2 directly behind it; rows Q through S sit farther back within Section 2.
What are the showtimes?
Now You See Me LIVE offers three showtimes — 4:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:30 PM — but the days and times performed vary week to week. Always confirm the exact date and time at checkout before you book. The earlier 4:00 PM slot is a great option for families with younger kids or anyone building a dinner-and-show evening.
How long is the show?
Now You See Me LIVE runs approximately two hours. It's a full-length production with a beginning, middle, and payoff — not a quick club-length set. Plan your evening around the roughly two-hour runtime plus arrival and exit time at the MGM Grand.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
Tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, which is standard for live Las Vegas entertainment. In the unlikely event of a production cancellation, you will be notified and refund options will be provided. Review the full terms and conditions at checkout before purchasing.
